Hello, my name is Hiroshi Hasegawa. I am retired and living in a small town called Ushiyama where is located just east side of The International Airport of Nagoya, Japan. I was born in this town in September of 1936, and lived here my whole life.
My family is six members in three generations and are living together. The youngest is
my second granddaughter(6 years old) and the oldest is me (69 years old).

Camera When I was a junior-high student my father gave me a simple Koduk box camera. It was my first camera. Ever since, the cameras have been my hobby for a long time. The subject of my photos are mostly my family members. Video Compared with photos, VCR has audio and visual movement. These days, I am focusing on my granddaughter, enjoy editing the tapes. |
| Travel |
It is enjoyable to visit a countryside or a town far from home. I have visited many foreign countries, but there are many more countries I would like to visit. Recently, I feel I am getting older and prefer to visit hot-spring resorts. |
| Visiting Old Temples |
We ( My wife and I) had completed visiting all 33 old temples of Saigoku(Western) in Nov. of 1998. And next, we had completed visiting all 88 temples of the Chita Peninsula in Aug. of 2001. Now we are planning to start all 88 temples Shikoku pilgrimage. |

| Nishikigoi |
There is a pond in my garden where I keep different kinds of Nishikigoi (colorful carp). |
| Vegetable Gardening |
I have 7 ares of vegetable garden near my home. At the garden, I grows vegetables and my wife grows flowers. As my wife is taking lessons in Ikebana (flower arrangement), she needs lots of flowers for her works. I think gardening is good for us to relax. |

I have a Japanese garden in my yard. Pruning and trimming trees to make the garden look better is a lot of fun. |
